2 dead as Boko Haram attacks Borno

Report says a bomb explosion has claimed two lives in Maiduguri, Borno State.

The Improvised Explosive Device, IED, went off this morning around the Ummulari ward in Maiduguri, the state capital.

A soldier who confirmed the attack to Newsmen says that two persons were killed in the explosion suspected to have been carried out by the degraded Boko Haram insurgents.

The Nigerian Army has gunned down three female suicide bombers around Maiduguri in the early hours of today.

A report by the PPRO Borno Command, Victor Isuku, confirmed that the women who were sighted in Umulari village, along Maiduguri/Damboa road, near Mulai, by the military patrol team, had IED’s strapped to their bodies.
