Governor Akeredolu describes ongoing project as citizen’s entitlement

As the Ondo state residents count down a year in office of governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,he begun inspection of ongoing projects across the state.

The inspection exercise which will hold for days began at the northern senatorial district of the state.

He inspected the ongoing construction, a 2.3 kilometre selected roads in Ifon, Oka/Epinmi road and township roads in Supare-Akoko.

The Olufon of Ifon, Oba Israel Adegoke and the Oluspare of supare-akoko oba adejoro adedeji decried years of neglect in their communities and appreciated the gesture of the Akeredolu administration.

In his response, governor Akeredolu noted that the ongoing projects across the state is not a dividend of democracy, but the citizen’s entitlements and government responsibility.

He said if not for the financial challenges plaguing the economy, all roads should be constructed.

But, assured that within the limited resources, his administration would not relent in bringing development to the state.
