New Minimum Wage: Organized Labour warns FG against delay in payment

The organised labour has warned the Federal Government against any attempt to delay or truncate the newly-agreed 30,000 naira national minimum wage.

It said such move would have a devastating effect on the country and also cried out over the issue of corruption, saying it remained one of the major challenges facing the nation.

President of the Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria, (ASCSN), Bobboi Kaigama said this while addressing the National Executive Council, (NEC), meeting of the association, in Abuja.

Kaigama, who also serves as the president of Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, (TUC), stressed on the need for the government to fast-track implementation of the newly agreed national minimum wage
