Osun State NMA calls off seven-day warning strike

The Nigerian Medical Association, Osun State branch has called off its seven-day warning strike and directed all its members return to work.

Speaking to newsmen after a meeting with its members, the chairman, Dr. Tokunbo Olajumoke says the state government has commenced talks with the NMA hence the decision to put the strike on hold.

Olajumoke stated that the doctors have been asked to return to work, there will only be clinical services and no new cases will be admitted.

Meanwhile the premises of the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo still remains abandoned owing to the ongoing strike of the JOHESU.
