Members of the House of Representatives have suspended legislative activities for one day to mourn their late colleague, Funke Adedoyin.

The members had gone on annual recess since July 24 and were to resume fully today after the primaries of their political parties ahead of the 2019 poll.

Adedoyin, a former Minister of State for Health, also served as the Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Army till she died.

Reports revealed that members would merely resume, register and adjourn sitting immediately after holding a prayer session in honour of their departed colleague.
