Nigeria Football Supporters’ Club President-General Rafiu Ladipo feels the Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr deserves respect for his winning the country’s three competitive matches since his employment in August last year.
Ladipo’s comments came against the backdrop of the Nigeria Football Federation’s failure to pay Rohr his three months’ salary.
It was gathered that the 63-year-old German is also being owed match bonuses by his employers.
Ladipo, who has expressed concern over the development, urged the national football governing body to fulfil their obligation to pay the former Burkina Faso manager.
The sports enthusiast and financial supporter of grassroots sports development insisted the NFF had no business struggling to pay the national coach his entitlements.
