Reactions have continued to trail the operation Pyton dance and invasion of home town of the leader of the indigenous people of Biafara (IPOB), Nnamdi known by the Nigerian army.
A legal practitioner, Ebun-Ola Adegboruwa who condemned the operation while speaking to newsmen in Lagos said Nnamdi Kanu has never taken laws into his hands to warrant the deployment of Army into the south-east states.
Adegboruwa who further stressed that the IPOB leader was only agitating for a state of Biafara which is right under the law, noted that the federal government has been provoking the agitation.
The legal practitioner maintained that President Muhammadu Buhari doesn’t have the power to deploy soldier for civilian purposes, urging the federal government to send the military men back to their barracks and put an end to the operation.
Meanwhile, the vice president of national bar association Mr Monday Ubani has expressed his displeasure over the activities of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, IPOB members under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu
Mbani registered his displeasure on BREEZFM’S reporter’s diary this morning
The NBA vice president stressed that the activities of IPOB lack strategy, intelligence and methodology, he also opined that agitation could be pursued in a more mature approach to the issue at hand
However, he said Nigerians should not be in a hurry to conclude that the federal government did actually deploy the military to the south east, adding given that no official statement has been made and the national assembly hasn’t given consent.
