Russian spy poisoning: Putin confirms suspects as civilians, not criminals

In the meantime, Vladimir Putin says, the two suspects in the poisoning of ex-Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia Skripal are civilians, not criminals.

Report says, UK authorities have named the men as Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov, thought to be officers of Russia’s Military Intelligence Service.

Putin said his government had found the pair and hoped they would appear soon and tell their story.

It would be recalled that, 66-year-old Skripal, and 33-year-old Yulia, were poisoned in the UK in March.
