Scores of mourners troop to Adewale’s Lagos residence

Scores of mourners have continued to besiege the residence of the late Mr Olutayo Adewale, a member of the House of Representatives from Ifako-Ijaiye Fedeal Constituency III days after his demise.

A correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria who visited the residence of the late Adewale at No. 14, Jagunmolu St. Off Araromi, Iju-Ishaga, Lagos, observed the symphathisers wearing gloomy faces.

The living room was filled to its brim as relatives, neighbours, party leaders and members, religious leaders and beneficiaries of Adewale’s large heart were seen consoling his wife.

Many of the early callers at the deceased residence sat and stood in groups recounting the good deeds and selfless qualities of the late lawmaker.

The first son of the deceased, Mr Yinka Adewale, was short of words when the correspondent approached him for comments on his father’s death.

Yinka said, “I cannot say anything for now. I don’t remember anything except my father’s full name.

“How can someone who was not sick and has no record of sickness be found dead sitting on a sofa with his legs on a table and a bottle of water beside him in his living room in Abuja.

“There is more to this,”Yinka, who was surrounded by many friends added.
